What this site is
TradeShow Event Directory is a reference for people who exhibit at, plan for, or attend trade shows and conferences across North America. For each show we track the essentials — when it runs, where, who organizes it, roughly how many exhibitors turn out — and, on the listings we have written up, a summary of what the show is and who it is for.
Alongside the show listings we maintain pages for the convention centers and venues that host them, a month-by-month calendar, a directory of service providers who work the exhibit circuit, and a library of guides on planning and running a booth.
The directory is not exhaustive and does not pretend to be. It concentrates on B2B trade shows and industry conferences in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and it skews toward shows with an exhibit hall — because that is the part of the industry we know.
Who runs it
The directory is published by APG Exhibits, the trading name of Agency Promo Group, a trade show exhibit design and build company based in North Barrington, Illinois. We have been making booths, banner stands and modular displays for exhibitors since long before this site existed, which is how we ended up with a large internal spreadsheet of show dates in the first place. This site is that spreadsheet, cleaned up and made public.
The directory is maintained by APG Exhibits staff. Show records are imported, corrected and expanded by the same team; there is no outside editorial board and we do not pretend otherwise.
How the site makes money
We would rather state this plainly than bury it. There are three revenue sources, and all three are relevant to how you should read the site:
- Display advertising. Third-party ads, including Google AdSense, appear on most pages. Advertisers have no say in which shows we list, how we describe them, or where they rank in a listing page.
- Booth enquiries for APG Exhibits. Show pages carry a quote form for exhibit design and build work. If you fill it in, it reaches APG Exhibits — the company that publishes this directory. That is a commercial relationship and we label it as one.
- Paid placements in the service provider directory. Providers can pay to be featured. Featured placements are marked as such wherever they appear.
What money does not buy: inclusion in the show directory, removal from it, a more flattering write-up, or a better position in search results on this site. Show listings are free and always have been. Our Editorial and Listing Policy sets out the rules we hold ourselves to.
On accuracy
Show dates move. Venues change. Organizers rebrand an event and the old name lingers online for years. We check listings against organizers’ official sites and re-import our schedule data regularly, but a directory of this size will always contain records that have drifted out of date.
Always confirm dates and registration details on the official show site before you book travel or buy booth space. Every listing links to the organizer’s site where we have a URL for it.
If you find something wrong, tell us — there is a “report incorrect information” link on every show page, and we read them. See how we handle corrections.
