Agreement

These terms govern your use of tradeshoweventdirectory.com (the “Site”), operated by Agency Promo Group, trading as APG Exhibits (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the Site.

Using the Site is free and does not require an account. We may change these terms; the date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

Accuracy of listings — read this one

The directory is compiled from industry schedule data, organizers’ published materials and our own records. Show dates change, venues change, and events are renamed and cancelled. We make a genuine effort to keep listings current — see our Editorial and Listing Policy — but the Site is provided for reference and we do not warrant that any listing is accurate, complete or current.

Confirm dates, venue, registration and exhibitor terms with the show organizer before you commit money or travel. The organizer’s own site is authoritative; this one is not. We are not responsible for losses arising from booking travel, buying booth space, or making any other commitment in reliance on information found here.

Listing a show is not an endorsement of it, of its organizer, or of the value of exhibiting at it, and it does not mean we have any relationship with the organizer.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, harvest or systematically copy the directory, or any substantial part of it, whether for a competing listing service, a mailing list, or a dataset;
• use contact information found on the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages;
• interfere with the Site’s operation or security, including by probing it, overloading it, or circumventing rate limits;
• misrepresent yourself when submitting a listing, a correction or a message; or
• use the Site in a way that breaks any applicable law.

Ordinary use — reading, searching, linking to us, and quoting a listing with attribution — is welcome and needs no permission.

What you send us

When you submit a listing, a correction, a website URL or a message, you confirm that you are entitled to send it and that it is accurate as far as you know. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in the directory, including in edited form.

We are not obliged to publish a submission, and we may edit, decline or remove one at our discretion — for instance if we cannot corroborate it. We will tell you why rather than leaving you guessing.

Intellectual property

The Site’s design, written guides, editorial summaries and the compiled arrangement of the directory are owned by APG Exhibits and protected by copyright.

Show names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective organizers. We use them to identify the events being listed — nominative fair use — and claim no rights in them. Photographs are either licensed, supplied by organizers, or drawn from stock libraries.

If you believe material on the Site infringes your rights, email hello@tradeshoweventdirectory.com with the specific URL and the basis of your claim, and we will investigate promptly.

Third-party links and advertising

The Site links to organizers’ websites, venue sites and service providers, and it displays third-party advertising including Google AdSense. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. A link or an ad is not an endorsement.

The Site is published by a company that sells trade show exhibits, and show pages carry an enquiry form for APG Exhibits’ booth services. That commercial relationship is set out in full on our About page and in the Editorial and Listing Policy. How advertising cookies work is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or wasted expenditure arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the exclusions apply only so far as that jurisdiction permits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that consumers keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of their home jurisdiction.
