About this venue

Everline Resort & Spa is an upscale, all-season mountain resort at the base of Palisades Tahoe in Olympic Valley, home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. The property offers 405 rooms, suites, and rental lodgings with views of the Sierra Nevada, pine forests, and Olympic Valley meadows. On-site amenities include The Spa at Everline, an Oasis Pool Complex with multiple heated pools, a 24-hour fitness center with steam room and sauna, a Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed 18-hole championship golf course, tennis courts, an ice-skating rink, and multiple restaurants and bars with a farm-to-table focus. The resort has extensive meeting and event space, including a ballroom, business center, and roughly 47,750 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor function space spread across a large mountain campus.

Parking

The resort offers both valet and self-parking. Valet parking starts from about $40 and includes unlimited in-and-out privileges, while self-parking starts from about $30. Snow removal is provided for valet vehicles but not in the self-parking lot, so winter guests are advised to bring their own snow-removal tools.

Getting there

The closest major airport is Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), roughly 45–48 miles away and about a 45–56 minute drive via I-80 and SR-267. Sacramento International (SMF) is about 116 miles away and San Francisco International (SFO) about 206 miles. All major rental-car companies operate at RNO from a consolidated ground-transportation center, and renting a car is the recommended way to reach the resort. The resort does not offer an airport shuttle, but it operates a private Black Car Service (7 a.m.–11 p.m.) between the resort, Tahoe City, Truckee, and Truckee Airport, and the concierge can arrange limo/shuttle service. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is available from Reno but can be inconsistent for the long trip and subject to surge pricing, so it is best used as a backup.

Nearby hotels

The conference is hosted entirely at the Everline Resort & Spa, which serves as the primary lodging for attendees; booking a room on-site is the most convenient option and places you steps from all sessions and activities. Note that a daily resort fee (approximately $55, subject to change) applies to each room. Additional lodging is available in the nearby communities of Tahoe City (about a 10-minute drive) and Truckee, both a short drive from Olympic Valley.

The **ESCA Summer Educational Conference (SEC)** is the annual professional-development gathering of the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association, the trade group representing companies that build, service, and support trade shows and live events. It is a four-day educational and networking conference rather than a traditional exhibit-floor trade show. According to the organizer, it is where industry leaders come together to gain fresh insights, explore emerging trends, and engage in discussions led by carefully selected speakers. Attendees are professionals from across the exhibition and live-events supply chain — general service contractors, exhibit houses, suppliers, labor partners, and show-management organizations. The program blends expert-led education, afternoon enrichment activities, and structured and casual networking, all set against a scenic resort backdrop. The conference is worth attending for its combination of practical, immediately applicable learning and its tight-knit community atmosphere. The 2027 edition runs June 27–30, 2027 at the Everline Resort & Spa in Lake Tahoe, California, giving attendees a chance to recharge, build business relationships, and stay ahead of trends shaping the exhibitions industry.
