About this venue

The Minneapolis Convention Center is a large convention center located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota that opened in 1990. It is the largest indoor center in the Upper Midwest. The center has a distinctive quadruple-domed roof and, because of its volume, can host multiple events on the same day. The center is connected by climate-controlled skyways to downtown hotels, restaurants and shopping. The facility includes large exhibit halls, an auditorium, numerous meeting rooms, and extensive loading dock and catering infrastructure.

Parking

Plaza Parking Ramp: Underground parking connected to the Minneapolis Convention Center, located on the immediate right as you approach the venue on 2nd Ave. S.
3rd Ave Parking Ramp: The MCC-owned ramp at 1401 3rd Ave S., Minneapolis, MN 55404.
Partner ramps: In addition to the 3rd Ave ramp, the MCC has partnered with four City of Minneapolis parking ramps, all connected through the skyway system and located within two blocks of the MCC.
Advance reservations: You can reserve a spot using parking apps such as ParkMobile, SpotHero or ParkWhiz.
Street meters are also available, and drop-off/pick-up locations for accessibility, bus, Lyft, Uber and public transportation are located in front of the building on 2nd Avenue South.

Getting there

Airport: The Minneapolis Convention Center is about 12 miles from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. It is only about 20 minutes from the airport, on the southern edge of downtown Minneapolis and close to freeways.
Light rail: Light rail to downtown Minneapolis is available for around $2. Metro Transit operates one of the largest public transportation systems in the country.
Taxi and rideshare: Taxis are available for approximately $35 each way from the airport. Lyft and Uber pick-up/drop-off is located on 2nd Avenue South in front of the building.
Skyways: The climate-controlled skyway system links the Minneapolis Convention Center to most of downtown Minneapolis without stepping outside.

The official FiltXPO room block includes two downtown hotels, both connected to the Minneapolis Convention Center by the Skyway for easy indoor access:

Hyatt Regency Minneapolis — 1300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403; approximately $229/night (single or double), plus taxes and fees.
Hilton Minneapolis — 1001 Marquette Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55403; approximately $259/night (single or double), plus taxes and fees.

The hotel reservation deadline is Monday, October 5, 2026. Attendees must be registered for FiltXPO to book within the block, and a reservation link is included in the registration confirmation. INDA warns attendees to beware of unauthorized "hotel poacher" companies offering rooms outside official channels.
