About this venue

Saint Paul RiverCentre is one of the city's convention, special event and entertainment venues, offering more than 250,000 square feet of versatile, easily configurable event space. It was one of the first convention centers in the nation to offer free wireless internet and has been recognized as a leader in sustainability in the event industry. On the lobby level, Headwaters Café offers made-from-scratch soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts and coffee. The venue is connected to parking and hotels via the downtown skyway system.

Parking

Saint Paul RiverCentre does not have its own public parking, but visitors can use the adjacent RiverCentre Parking Ramp and Kellogg Underground Ramp, which are city-operated and connected by skyway, along with other nearby options. There are approximately 13,000 parking spots within three blocks of the venue; the RiverCentre Parking Ramp is the closest, located directly across the street and connected via the skyway system. That ramp is attached to the facility via a climate-controlled skyway, so guests don't have to go outside. The RiverCentre Parking Ramp is also equipped with eight electric car charging stations. Overnight parking is not available at locations near the venue. Parking can also be booked in advance through apps such as SpotHero and ParkWhiz.

Getting there

Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is only about eight miles from downtown Saint Paul. By public transit, you can reach the airport from downtown St. Paul (and vice versa) by boarding Metro Transit Route 54, traveling west on 7th Street. Alternatively, take the METRO Green Line to downtown Minneapolis and transfer to a Blue Line train toward Mall of America, which stops at the airport. The Green Line light rail connects the downtowns of Minneapolis and Saint Paul as well as the University of Minnesota. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) and taxis are also available; MSP has designated areas for rideshare pick-up. Once downtown, the RiverCentre connects to the skyway system, making it easy to walk indoors to local hotels and restaurants.

Nearby hotels

Several downtown St. Paul hotels are within walking distance of the RiverCentre, many connected via the skyway system:

  • Holiday Inn St. Paul Downtown — a short walk to the venue.
  • DoubleTree by Hilton St. Paul Downtown — downtown, near the venue.
