HLAA | Hearing Loss Association of America 2027
The HLAA Convention is the annual national gathering of the **Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA)**, the leading U.S. organization serving people who live with hearing loss. The Hearing Loss Association of America hosted its 41st annual convention in Louisville, Kentucky, June 10–12, 2026. The HLAA event serves as a platform for hearing health professionals, assistive device manufacturers, and accessibility advocates to explore current trends in hearing assistive technology, education, and advocacy. The convention brings together a broad community. It gathers people with hearing loss, family members, hearing health professionals, advocates, and industry partners for learning, connection, and shared experience. The program features educational workshops, general sessions, a research symposium, and an exhibit hall showcasing the latest hearing technologies and accessibility solutions. What sets it apart is accessibility. It is one of the largest hearing-accessible events in the country, with captioning, assistive listening devices, and other accommodations available throughout the venue. HLAA provides real-time captioning for every plenary session and workshop, and all meeting rooms are equipped with hearing loops to support assistive listening.
