Savannah Convention Center

The **GMA Annual Convention** is the flagship gathering of the Georgia Municipal Association, the only state organization representing municipal governments in Georgia. <cite index="8-1,8-2">The convention brings city officials from across Georgia together for four days of education, networking, and celebration.</cite> The event is designed for mayors, council members, city clerks, and other local government leaders. <cite index="17-7">The convention provides an opportunity for city officials to learn about best practices in municipal government, sharpen their leadership skills, help shape the Association's legislative policies and build and strengthen relationships through numerous networking opportunities.</cite> A central feature is the **Municipal Marketplace**, an exhibit hall where vendors showcase products and services to Georgia's city officials. <cite index="8-4,8-5">Attendees connected with vendors during Marketplace hours on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28.</cite> With Savannah's historic riverfront as its backdrop, the convention combines professional development, policy work, awards ceremonies, and social events into a single annual event for Georgia's municipal community.
