About this venue
Home to events as wide-ranging as policy conferences and presidential inaugural balls, the Walter E. Washington Convention Center offers a prime location in D.C.'s convention and entertainment district with access to hotels, restaurants, shopping, and live sports. The 2026 meetings use dedicated locations in downtown Washington, D.C., at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the Marriott Marquis and surrounding hotels. The Marriott Marquis has adjoining access to the convention center, where the majority of Governance Meetings will be held. The Trade Expo takes place on the convention center show floor.
Getting there
The venue sits in downtown Washington, D.C., steps from the Mount Vernon Square/7th Street-Convention Center Metro station (Green and Yellow lines). The city is served by three major airports: Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA), Washington Dulles International (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington International (BWI).
