Abilities Expo 2026

Abilities Expo does not publish an official attendance figure for the Orlando edition specifically. Across its nationwide series, the organizer reports that Abilities Expo attracts more than 30,000 annual attendees, made up of people with disabilities, caregivers, families, service providers and industry experts. The event caters to people with more than 50 types of disabilities, as well as their families, friends, caregivers and medical professionals.

Admission to Abilities Expo Orlando is completely free for all attendees. Registration is available online through the official Abilities Expo website; visitors are encouraged to register in advance to speed up entry.

Show hours are:

• Friday: 11am–5pm
• Saturday: 11am–5pm
• Sunday: 11am–4pm (with an Early Access Hour for individuals with sensory disabilities from 10am–11am)

Abilities Expo was established in 1979, with its first event launched at the Los Angeles Convention Center by its founder, a wheelchair user and post-polio survivor who envisioned a single destination where people with disabilities could discover new products and resources — long before the internet made such information widely available. From that local showcase, the event grew into the premier nationwide series for the disability community, traveling to major markets across the United States multiple times each year.

In January 2024, Abilities Expo was acquired by UK-based Raccoon Media Group, a global leader in community-based events. Since the acquisition, the show has expanded its footprint and exhibitor participation, and in 2026 it launched the co-located Abilities International Accessibility Conference, adding a B2B component that bridges industry leaders, researchers and users to advance global accessibility standards.
