The Academy of General Dentistry was incorporated on August 2, 1952. On Feb. 6, 1952, Dr. Thaddeus Weclew and several colleagues met in Chicago to create and sign what would be the first charter of the AGD, having identified a vacancy in the dental profession—there was no established, consolidated source to provide dentists with continuing education opportunities. Founded in 1952, AGD is the only professional association that exclusively represents the needs and interests of general dentists. The AGD has grown to become one of the world's largest dental associations. It has expanded from offering members a handful of courses to hundreds of CE opportunities each year. The 2027 meeting in Chicago marks AGD's 75th Anniversary (1952—2027).
Detailed exhibitor list is being compiled. Check back soon or visit the official show website for the most current information.
