Adhesion Society Annual Meeting 2027

The Adhesion Society was formed in 1978 to advance the science and technology of adhesion, and its annual scientific meeting has taken place every year since. The inaugural meeting was announced in a February 1978 "Call for Papers" and held March 20–21, 1978, at the University of Akron, where eight technical presentations were made to approximately 50 attendees, and attendees ratified the organizational plans for the new Society. The 30th Annual Meeting was recognized as a milestone, marked by the release of a "History of the Adhesion Society, 1977–2007." The 2027 gathering in San Antonio is the Society's 50th Annual Meeting, reflecting decades of growth in size, scope, and the range of organized technical sessions.
