American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education - AACTE 2027

AACTE reports that its Annual Meeting brings together more than 2,000 individuals from the educator preparation field each year. Attendees include teachers and district personnel, college and university leaders, faculty, administrators, and students. AACTE's membership base spans more than 800 member institutions representing public and private colleges and universities across every U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Guam.

Registration for AACTE 2027 is handled online through the association's events platform.

AACTE held its founding meeting in February 1948 in Atlantic City, NJ, where it adopted its constitution and bylaws. Over its first three-quarters of a century, the association reshaped teacher preparation and became a driving influence in the field, marking "75 Years Leading a Profession." The Annual Meeting has grown into the nation's premier educator preparation conference, held in late February or early March each year and rotating among U.S. regions. Recent host cities include Long Beach, CA (2025) and New Orleans, LA (2026), with Columbus, OH selected for 2027 — the association's 79th Annual Meeting cycle.
