American Society for Radiation Oncology - ASTRO 2026

As the leading global conference in radiation oncology, the meeting is expected to attract more than 10,000 oncologists, clinicians, researchers and other healthcare professionals from around the globe. The audience is drawn from hospitals, cancer treatment centers and academic research facilities worldwide and spans radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, oncology nurses, biologists and researchers.

Published booth-space pricing for the 2026 Annual Meeting is not confirmed in the sources reviewed. For reference, exhibitor badge personnel fees at the prior (2025) meeting were listed as follows: Member (all categories) $275 and Nonmember (all categories) $525. Exhibitors can also secure Expo Suites and Business Suites for private, extended access. Confirm current booth rates via the official exhibitor application and floor plan.

Registration for the 2026 ASTRO Annual Meeting is open, and SPARGO, Inc. is the only official registration provider of the ASTRO Annual Meeting.

Registration tiers are priced by deadline: Early-bird until June 25, 2026; Advance from June 26 to August 13, 2026; and Standard after August 13, 2026, with rates changing on each cutoff date at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

The in-person full conference package includes: admission to all education and scientific sessions, access to poster sessions, access to the Exhibit Hall, admission to the Exhibit Hall Networking Reception, admission to the PRO Program, access to the Physics Workshop on Saturday, continuing medical education (CME) credits, and onDemand access to session content until June 1, 2027. A virtual option offers top education and science, letting attendees livestream sessions, ask questions, access ePosters, earn CME credits and view onDemand recordings.

ASTRO was founded November 18, 1958, as the American Club of Therapeutic Radiologists by 58 radiation therapists who were looking for representation of their specialty outside of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Membership grew rapidly, and in 1962 the organization was officially incorporated in Colorado with a membership of 250. In November of 1970, the Society held its first independent scientific meeting in Phoenix, and in 1976 it sponsored its official journal, the International Journal of Radiation Oncology • Biology • Physics.

At ASTRO's 50th Annual Meeting in Boston in September 2008, the membership voted to change ASTRO's name to the American Society for Radiation Oncology while keeping the acronym, deciding that the term "therapeutic radiology" was outdated; the new name took effect in January 2009. The 2026 gathering in Boston is the society's 68th Annual Meeting.
