The National is organized by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). <cite index="3-2">Founded in 1912, the American Podiatric Medical Association supports podiatric physicians' and surgeons' ability to practice to the full extent of their education and training, in order to improve lives through access to comprehensive lower-extremity care.</cite> The Annual Scientific Meeting continues as the profession's flagship gathering, rotating among major U.S. host cities; the 2026 meeting is in Nashville, TN, and the 2027 meeting is scheduled for the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, CO.

On-site parking at the resort is available for a daily fee. <cite index="22-4,22-6">Self-parking is $37 plus tax and valet is $50 plus tax; the resort also charges a resort fee of $28 plus tax.</cite> <cite index="16-3">Many guests prefer to park for free at the Opry Mills Mall next door, and it is a short walk over to the Delta Portico entrance.</cite> Rates are subject to change, so confirm current pricing with the hotel.

Rideshare and taxis are readily available, and WeGo Transit buses serve the area, though transfers make transit slower than driving.
The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is the host hotel, so staying on-site puts attendees steps from all sessions; reserve through APMA's block link for the best rate. The 2026 APMA Annual Scientific Meeting (The National) runs August 6–9, 2026, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN. All educational sessions and official events take place at the Gaylord.
The meeting is aimed at podiatric physicians and surgeons, residents, students, and podiatric medical assistants. It is APMA's flagship event for continuing education, scientific programming, and networking in podiatric medicine.
Attendance is free for students and residents. Practicing physicians and medical assistants register online through the APMA members portal and can save up to $200 by signing up by August 4.
