The ASCO Annual Meeting is held at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. The 2026 meeting ran May 29 to June 2, 2026, and the next meeting is scheduled for June 4-8, 2027, with online participation also available.
The meeting is designed for oncology professionals, researchers, clinicians, patient advocates, and industry leaders from around the world. It draws over 40,000 attendees who come to share and learn about scientific discoveries and clinical advances in cancer care.

The five-day program features more than 200 sessions, including plenary sessions that spotlight late-breaking clinical trials and peer-reviewed abstract presentations across disease areas such as breast, lung, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers, plus topics like AI and digital health. There are also education sessions, an exhibit hall, and extensive networking.
McCormick Place is reachable from O'Hare and Midway airports via the CTA 'L' train, and the Metra Electric line and CTA Green Line stop at the venue; free Metra rides between McCormick Place and Millennium Station are available to attendees. The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and Marriott Marquis Chicago are directly connected to the convention center, with additional official hotels served by complimentary ASCO shuttles.
