The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (KBHCC) is a massive, multi-structure complex anchoring the southern edge of downtown Dallas, with over 2 million square feet of space and a dedicated DART light rail station directly underneath the building. It features more than one million square feet of exhibit space, 65,124 square feet of ballrooms, and 21,290 square feet of arena and flexible outdoor space, and its 203,000-square-foot column-free exhibit hall is the largest of its kind in America. The center has three levels: Level 1 / Ground Floor, Level 2 / Exhibits Floor, and Level 3 / Mezzanine. The facility is ADA compliant, providing accommodations such as wheelchair lifts, elevator standards, door-width standards, and accessible restrooms, entrances, and elevators.
The venue's on-site parking, operated by ACE Parking, includes a parking garage and a surface parking lot (Lot C) that can accommodate almost any vehicle. Driving visitors will find plentiful parking, including a convention center garage, surface lots, and bus drop-off zones. Many nearby downtown hotels also offer self and valet parking at additional daily rates.
Dallas Love Field (DAL) is seven miles from the convention center, travelers from Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) can arrive in about 30 minutes, and Dallas Executive Airport (KRBD) serves private air travel about 10 minutes away. Public transportation via Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is available and convenient for events at the center. DART has a light rail station at the convention center and runs a free D-Link shuttle bus to area shopping and entertainment. There is a direct DART train from the DFW Airport Station to West End Station, departing every 30 minutes with a journey of about 50 minutes. Amtrak and the Trinity Railway Express both serve Dallas Union Station, located about 2 1/2 blocks from the convention center. Rideshare and taxis are also readily available.
