The organizer reports a 92% meeting satisfaction rate and 50,000+ meetings across the event. Fintech Meetup 2025 delivered over 45,000 one-to-one meetings, with 86% of attendees participating in the meetings program and one-third at C-suite level. That edition featured 250 speakers, including 136 CEOs.

The official site publishes attendee ticket prices rather than booth or exhibit-space pricing. Sponsorship and exhibition costs are quoted individually; the organizer invites prospective exhibitors to download the event brochure and contact the team. Fintech Meetup was founded by event-industry disruptors and fintech insiders Anil Aggarwal and Simran Rekhi Aggarwal, the same creators of the Retail Meetup networking platform. Fintech Meetup launched its first virtual event in 2021, which was followed by a second in 2022. The event facilitated over 20,000 meetings in its first year between 2,000 participants.

Fintech Meetup was acquired on 11 March 2022 by Hyve Group. Its March 2023 Las Vegas event was designed to be the key kickoff event for the entire fintech industry at the beginning of every year. Fintech Meetup achieved a Net Promoter Score of 53 for its inaugural 2023 in-person event. In just three years, it evolved into one of the industry's most influential gatherings. The event has been described as the second largest U.S. fintech event.
