Attendance figures for IDEA®27 have not been published. As a benchmark, the most recent edition, IDEA®25 in Miami Beach, Florida, attracted over 550 exhibitors and 5,300 participants from around the globe, with the audience including senior-level decision makers from across the nonwovens and engineered materials industry. INDA expects IDEA®27 to gather thousands of professionals from the global nonwovens value chain, representing both disposable and durable applications.

IDEA® is the flagship conference and exhibition of INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, which has served the industry since 1968. Traditionally held on a multi-year cycle, IDEA® has grown into what INDA calls the world's preeminent event for nonwovens and engineered fabrics and the largest such exhibition in the Americas. The 2025 edition in Miami Beach drew over 550 exhibitors and 5,300 participants. For 2027 the show moves to Kansas City, Missouri, and debuts the new Durables District. INDA has noted that the two-year gap between IDEA®25 and IDEA®27 is a one-time occurrence, after which the event returns to its traditional three-year cycle.
