The Irving Convention Center is a 275,000 sq ft facility on a 40-acre tract in the Las Colinas Urban Center in Irving, Texas. Opened in January 2011, the convention center and adjoining mixed-use entertainment district are bordered on the west by Highway 114, on the east by Las Colinas Boulevard, on the north by Spur 348/Northwest Highway, and to the south by Fuller Drive. The building is recognized for its unique architecture and vertical design, and is designed to serve exhibitions, conventions, and meetings, with a focus on groups of 800 to 1,200 people and a capacity of 4,000 for a general session. The first floor contains the 50,000 sq ft column-free exhibition hall that spans approximately two and a half stories in height and includes the main lobby.

An 800-space parking structure is attached to the facility, and additional parking is available within walking distance. Note that most open-to-the-public/consumer events have a parking fee for convention center garage parking, which varies from event to event. Prepaid parking and printable driving-direction/parking maps are available via the Irving Convention Center website.

By air: Both Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field are less than 10 miles from the core of Las Colinas, so the Irving Convention Center can be reached by a quick flight from anywhere in the United States.

By rail/transit: A dedicated light rail station, the Irving Convention Center station, provides DART light rail service directly to the convention center via the Orange Line. The station provides connections to DFW International Airport and, via the Green Line, Dallas Love Field. While in Las Colinas, visitors can take advantage of the free Las Colinas Area Personal Transit System (APT) people-mover.

By car: Situated in the middle of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and its network of freeways, traveling to and around Irving by car is easy.

Rideshare/taxi: Uber and Lyft both operate in Irving and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, making it simple to get a ride to and from the Irving Convention Center.
