Meetings Industry Council of Colorado - MIC Conference & Trade Show 2027

Since launching its annual conference in 2001, the event has grown to welcome around 1,000 industry professionals and 150 exhibitors annually. Recent editions have drawn strong attendance: 1,004 attendees with 150 exhibitors in 2025, and 1,003 attendees with 132 exhibitors in 2026. Historic peak attendance reached 1,206 in 2017 and 1,209 in 2018. The audience is made up of meetings, events, and hospitality professionals, including planners and suppliers, drawn primarily from Colorado and the surrounding region.

Per the official 2027 Sponsor Prospectus, exhibitor booths are priced as follows:

• Standard 10x10 booth: $1,625
• Premium 10x10 booth: $1,995

Sponsorship packages that include booth space and additional benefits are also available across five tiers:

1. Key to MIC – $18,500 (includes a 20x20 booth and 8 conference registrations)
2. Converge – $10,500 (includes a 10x20 booth and 6 registrations)
3. Connect – $6,900 (includes a 10x10 booth and 5 registrations)
4. Ignite – $5,200 (includes a 10x10 booth and 4 registrations)
5. Meet – $3,800 (includes a 10x10 booth and 3 registrations)

Stand-alone sponsorships range from $500 (e.g., pop-up banner or bathroom sponsor) to $3,000 (lanyard or conference bag). New for 2027, sponsors can also build packages using à la carte points.

Registration and sponsorship/exhibitor sales are handled through MIC of Colorado's event platform (Kinsley Meetings/EventPower). Prospective exhibitors and sponsors can download the Sponsor Prospectus and purchase sponsorships or booths online via the MIC Converge event page. For sponsorship and exhibiting, the prospectus lists MIC contacts Steve Kinsley and Scott Verrue of Kinsley Meetings. Attendee registration details and the full agenda are published on the event website as each year's program is finalized; a "Schedule at a Glance" and educational agenda are posted ahead of the event. Speakers can submit through the Call for Presentations, which opens annually.

MIC of Colorado began with a simple breakfast meeting in 1987 when Scott Friedman invited a few colleagues to chat over coffee, sparking what would become a powerful force for the meetings industry in Colorado. The inaugural conference was held in 2001 at the Holiday Inn DIA, drawing 571 attendees and 200 exhibitors. The event rotated among Denver-area hotels in its early years before settling at the Colorado Convention Center. In 2015 the conference broke 1,000 participants for the first time. The 2020 event was the last convention held in the Convention Center before COVID-19 closures, after which the show rebuilt, hiring management company Kinsley Meetings in 2021. In 2026 the conference and trade show was rebranded as MIC Converge.
