National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners - NAPNAP 2027

Registration for the 2027 National Conference is scheduled to open in October 2026. Attendees can register through the National Conference page on the NAPNAP website. Presenters can participate through the calls for abstracts: the call for poster abstracts is open via the Posters on the Move webpage, while the call for concurrent-session abstracts has closed. Application collection for presenting typically begins in late April and ends in early June for the following year's conference, with presentation selection usually completed by Sept. 15.

Established in 1973, NAPNAP was the first national professional society for nurse practitioners and remains the only national organization dedicated to both advancing the APRN role and improving the quality of health care for infants, children and adolescents. The organization was founded in 1973 when PNPs from around the country met in Columbus, Ohio to discuss affiliation with an existing professional group, concluded that they would best be served by their own specialty nursing organization, and at a national meeting in October, with the unanimous vote of 400 PNPs, NAPNAP was born. Today NAPNAP serves thousands of members nationwide. Founded in 1973, NAPNAP has grown to include more than 9,000 members across the U.S. The National Conference on Pediatric Health Care is the association's flagship annual event; the 2027 meeting in Sacramento marks its 48th edition, following the 47th conference held in Pittsburgh in March 2026.
