New Jersey School Boards Association - NJSBA Workshop 2026

The official site does not publish exact attendance figures, describing the audience only as "thousands of school leaders." NJSBA promotes Workshop as its signature event, inviting thousands of school leaders from across the state. Attendees span the full range of New Jersey district roles, including board members, superintendents, business administrators, charter school trustees, and technology, facilities, curriculum and transportation staff.

The official website does not list standard booth prices publicly; exhibitors are directed to the exhibitor prospectus and sales team. Cancellation terms are published: if written cancellation is received on or before July 31, 2026, 100% of monies paid are refunded; between Aug. 1 and Aug. 31, 2026, the exhibitor is responsible for 50% of the total invoice; and after Aug. 31, 2026, there are no refunds and the exhibitor is responsible for 100% of the invoiced amount. Early breakdown results in a loss of priority service at future Workshops and a $500 penalty.

The annual Workshop training conference takes place at the Atlantic City Convention Center, and registration is now open. Book by June 30 to access early bird pricing.

Pricing:

• The registration rate for Workshop 2026 is $2,400 for up to 25 team members, including the school board, business administrator, superintendent, facilities managers, curriculum professionals, IT staff, principals, human resource professionals, librarians and other district staff.
• The individual registration rate is $550 per person.

Key process notes:

• Only the school business administrator can handle Workshop registration and hotel reservations.
• All individual and group registrations require an attached purchase order at the time of registration; registrations without a purchase order are incomplete and will be cancelled.
• Guest registration is limited to the spouse or partner of school board members, business administrators, and superintendents only.
• Cancellations made up to 10 working days before Oct. 20 are refunded the entire registration fee; cancellations between 72 hours and 10 working days before are charged 50%; and cancellations within 72 hours and no-shows are charged the full fee.

Workshop is the New Jersey School Boards Association's long-running annual training conference and its signature event, held each fall in Atlantic City. It is co-sponsored by NJASA and NJASBO.
