POWERGEN International 2027

The official POWERGEN website does not publish specific attendance figures for 2027. Third-party industry listings offer estimates: one source projects the 2027 edition will attract nearly 9,000 buyers and suppliers over the four-day event, and reports that over 80% of attendees hold decision-making power. Another exhibitor-services listing estimates 7,500+ attendees and 500+ exhibitors, a 9-track conference, and 200+ speakers. Registration is organized by attendee type. Visitors first choose the option that best reflects their organization to proceed. Pass paths include:

1. Owner/Operator Pass — for utilities and generator owner-operators.
2. General Pass — for general industry attendees.
3. Solution Provider Pass — for vendors and service companies.

Additional pass types include Groups, Press/Media, and Exhibitor. Passes are offered at two access levels: Exhibition (expo, keynote/center stage, and networking reception only) and All Access (adds conference programs, Workforce Monday, breakfast/peer roundtables, the Electric Utility & Cogeneration Chemistry Workshop, and lunch Tuesday-Thursday).

• Group packages: Available exclusively to Utilities and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) through the Owner/Operator Groups.
• Spouse/guest: A spouse can be added for $100, including access to the technical conference program, networking events, keynotes, and select roundtables and workshops; children under 14 are not permitted.
• Cancellation: Cancellations must be received in writing on or before November 12, 2026 to receive a refund minus a $110 administrative charge; after that date refunds are not available, though substitutions may be made at any time.

Since its founding in 1992, POWERGEN has evolved into a leading exhibition and summit for advances in the power generation industry. Based in the USA and changing its host city each year, the event focuses on the full energy product mix of conventional, renewable, and cogeneration technologies. The show is produced by Clarion Events (Clarion Energy), based in Tulsa, OK. In recent years the event has expanded its scope, and HYDROVISION International has been integrated into POWERGEN, adding dedicated hydropower programming beginning at POWERGEN 2027. The 2027 edition is held in Salt Lake City, after which the event moves to Las Vegas for 2028.
