Psychiatric Society of Virginia - PSV 2026

PSV estimates expected attendance of 75 to 100 practicing psychiatrists for the 2026 Fall Meeting. The audience also includes residents, fellows, and medical students who participate through the poster program.

Exhibit and sponsorship rates for the 2026 Fall Meeting (early rate through 9/1/2026, then higher after):

• Gold Exhibitor: $3,000 (early) / $3,500 (after)
• Silver Exhibitor: $2,500 (early) / $3,000 (after)
• Bronze Exhibitor: $2,000 (early) / $2,500 (after)
• Exhibitor: $1,500 (early) / $2,000 (after)
• Additional Exhibitor Table: $1,200 (early) / $1,500 (after)

Sponsorship options include President's Dinner Sponsor ($3,000), Welcome Reception Sponsor ($1,500), and Poster Session Sponsor ($1,500). Program ads run $650-$800. Each tabletop exhibit includes a 6 ft table and two chairs, located in the James River Ballroom, assigned first come, first served. Additional exhibitor badges are $150 each.

Registration for the 2026 Fall Meeting is open through the PSV website. A discounted registration rate is available through Friday, September 4, 2026.

Steps for attendees:

1. Visit the PSV Meetings page and select the 2026 Fall Meeting registration link.
2. Complete the online registration form.
3. Book lodging separately within the official PSV room block at Delta Hotels Richmond Downtown.

Exhibitors and sponsors register separately by submitting an online Letter of Agreement, with payment due in full at submission. Exhibitor badge names are due by September 15, 2026. Trainees who wish to present posters may submit abstracts through Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

PSV holds two meetings each year — a Spring Meeting and a Fall Meeting — rotating among venues across Virginia. Documented past meetings on the PSV website date back to at least 2010, held in cities including Richmond, Roanoke, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Norfolk, Charlottesville, Chantilly, Staunton, Portsmouth, and Nellysford.

The PSV Foundation was established to support mental health awareness and educational programs, with a primary focus on encouraging original clinical and research poster presentations by psychiatry residents, fellows, and medical students. In 2019, the Foundation received a generous two-part grant from the Schaberg Foundation, in honor of PSV's financial advisor Tom Phillips, which enabled monetary prizes for outstanding posters at each PSV Fall Meeting. Recent Fall Meetings have been held in Richmond, including at The Delta Hotel in 2025 and 2026.
