About This Show

The world's leading cybersecurity event. Practitioners, researchers, and vendors come together to share what works, what's changing, and what to defend against next.

Show Highlights

Two Expo halls — RSAC 2027 will feature two large Expo spaces—North Expo and South Expo at the Moscone Center.

Keynote stages, Cryptographers' Panel, and Launch Pad — recurring marquee programming. Recent RSAC Launch Pad finalists included Incalmo, Konvu, and OBVERRA.

Headline moments from RSAC 2026 included a wide-ranging on-stage exchange between Hugh Jackman and RSAC Executive Chairman Hugh Thompson, and Geordie AI being named "RSAC 2026 Conference's Most Innovative Startup" by the Innovation Sandbox's judges' panel.

Year-round membership — RSAC Membership gives members access to an extensive library of 7,000+ resources—including Conference presentations enhanced with AI-powered summaries across all major cybersecurity disciplines such as AI security, cloud, identity, AppSec, and C-suite strategy—plus exclusive research reports, peer discussions, and daily cybersecurity news.

Attendance

In 2025, approximately 44,000 cybersecurity professionals from around the world gathered for RSAC Conference. The 2026 edition drew nearly 44,000 attendees, 700 speakers, 600 exhibitors, and 400 members of the media. Attendees represent a global, senior-skewing audience spanning enterprise, government, academic, and vendor communities.

History

The first RSAC Conference was held in 1991 and consisted of just one panel discussion. In the ensuing decades, RSAC has grown into a series of events held around the world, annually attracting over 44,000 attendees. It began as a user conference for customers of RSA, and today the "C" in RSAC represents community—cybersecurity for the community and by the community—and also embodies collaboration, content, connection, culture, commerce, and curriculum.

RSAC's commitment to driving innovation in cybersecurity began with the RSAC Innovation Sandbox more than 20 years ago and continues to grow, with innovation programs that have expanded over the years to turn visionary ideas into real-world impact. The 2026 edition marked the 35th annual flagship event at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Venue & Travel

Venue

Moscone Center

747 Howard St, San Francisco, CA 94103

Located in the urban heart of San Francisco's SoMa district, The Moscone Center is easily accessible by transit. The campus comprises three interconnected buildings—Moscone North, Moscone South, and Moscone West—with Moscone West at 800 Howard St at the corner of Fourth and Howard streets. Spanning North, South, and West halls, it offers over two million square feet of flexible space, advanced event technology, and modern meeting rooms, plus pioneering sustainability initiatives including major energy savings and one of the region's largest rooftop solar arrays. For RSAC, the show occupies two large Expo spaces—North Expo and South Expo, plus session rooms, briefing centers, and common areas. Various common areas within the Moscone Center can be used for impromptu and informal meetings.

Parking

The Moscone Center does not have on-site parking. For information about parking around The Moscone Center, the venue directs visitors to its parking page. There are several public parking garages in the immediate neighborhood, as well as valet parking service offered at most nearby hotels.

  • Nearby public garages include the Fifth & Mission/Yerba Buena garage and the Hearst/Jessie Square garage, both within a short walk.
  • Street parking around Moscone Center is very limited, heavily metered, and includes many commercial and passenger loading zones, especially on Howard, Third, and Fourth Streets—time limits, peak-hour tow-away restrictions, and high demand make street parking unreliable during events.
  • For bike parking, see BikeLink for secure parking locations in the neighborhood.
  • Reserving in advance via SpotHero or ParkMobile is recommended during major conferences.

Getting There

Public transit (recommended): BART offers fast, convenient regional service and MUNI Metro provides light rail service throughout the City. To reach Moscone North & South, take BART or MUNI to Montgomery station. To reach Moscone West, take BART or MUNI to Powell station.

Caltrain: Caltrain offers a frequent schedule into the nearby station at 4th & Townsend Streets, all within a few minutes' walk of The Moscone Center.

From the airport: BART connects directly from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Powell or Montgomery stations in roughly 30 minutes, no transfer required. Oakland International (OAK) is also accessible via BART with one transfer.

Ferry: Ferries connect San Francisco with cities across the Bay—San Francisco Bay Ferry serves nine terminal locations including Alameda, Oakland, and Vallejo—and from the Ferry Terminal riders can connect to surface and subway options to The Moscone Center.

Rideshare: Uber and Lyft drop-offs typically use Howard Street, Minna Street, and 3rd/4th Streets; expect heavy congestion during peak conference hours.

Nearby Hotels

Dozens of hotels sit within a 5–15 minute walk of Moscone, primarily in SoMa and Union Square. Popular choices for RSAC attendees include:

  • Marriott Marquis San Francisco — directly across Mission Street from Moscone, typically an RSAC headquarter hotel.
  • InterContinental San Francisco — on Howard Street; guests can walk to Moscone Center in just a few minutes, following a direct and well-lit route through SoMa.
  • The St. Regis San Francisco — located at 125 3rd Street, San Francisco, adjacent to Moscone North.
  • W San Francisco — adjacent to Moscone, on 3rd Street.
  • Hilton San Francisco Union Square — a short walk via 4th Street through Union Square.
