Society of Family Planning - SFP 2026

The meeting draws more than 1,200 family planning clinicians, scholars, and partners, with 401 organizations represented. According to the organizer's attendee snapshot: 54% provide essential healthcare, 47% conduct research, and 19% work in law, policy, and advocacy. Additionally, 20% are board-certified Complex Family Planning subspecialists, 24% are students or residents, and 30% are first-time attendees. Geographically, attendance splits roughly 33% Northeast, 25% West, 25% South, and 17% Midwest, with the largest state delegations from California (16%), New York (11%), Pennsylvania (10%), Illinois (6%), Massachusetts (5%), and the District of Columbia (5%).

Exhibitor and sponsorship packages for #SFP2026 (each includes one booth space with pipe and drape, a six-foot skirted table, two chairs, a wastebasket, and standard booth signage):

• Platinum package — $22,000 (6 badges, premium/customizable booth placement, 2 push notifications, and more)
• Gold package — $16,000 (5 badges, option for a double booth, 1 push notification)
• Silver package — $10,500 (4 badges)
• Bronze package — $5,500 (3 badges)
• Standard/Basic exhibiting package — $3,500 (2 badges)
• Nonprofit organization or government agency — $2,250 (2 badges)
• Additional exhibitor badges — $575 each (maximum of five)

All applications require a 50% deposit, with the balance due by September 18, 2026. Additional furniture, AV, and electrical are available for extra fees through the general services contractor and the venue.

Registration for #SFP2026 opens July 1, 2026 and is completed online (login required) at societyfp.org. Onsite registration is not available—advance registration is required to attend.

2026 registration fees (early bird through July 29, 2026 / general through September 28, 2026):

• SFP members: $660 / $764
• Non-members: $837 / $970
• Students/residents: $400 / $425

Pre-conference workshops cost extra ($150 full-day; $75 half-day). Non-members can apply for membership within the registration form to receive the member rate. Key deadlines: early bird ends July 29, 2026 (8:59 pm PT); registration closes September 28, 2026 (8:59 pm PT). Because of the meeting's security protocol, all registrants undergo third-party security vetting (up to about two weeks) before receiving venue and hotel details. Refunds, less a $50 processing fee, are available through October 2. A limited number of scholarships and travel subsidies are also offered.
