The Inspired Home Show - International Housewares Association 2027

The 2026 edition welcomed attendees from over 100 countries, with the Show's premier marketplace showcasing over 1,000 exhibitors, thousands of unique brands and hundreds of thousands of products. Historically, the Show has drawn more than 52,000 housewares professionals from around 130 countries, with exhibitors hailing from as many as 35 countries.

Registration is completed online through the official Show registration portal, where retail attendees, manufacturers' representatives, news media and other trade guest classifications can register for a Show badge.

Key points to note:

1. Registration for attendees for the 2027 Show is open; the exhibitor Space Application process is handled separately through the Show's Exhibit section.
2. Badges are not mailed in advance — all registrants pick up their individual badge in Chicago and should be prepared to present a government-issued photo ID.
3. An Express Badge Pick-Up email is sent to attendees ahead of the Show to speed up on-site collection.
4. Register before the Show opens to avoid a $100 on-site fee charged to new registrants.
5. IHA reviews badge classifications and reserves the right to reclassify registrations; any resulting charge is non-refundable and must be paid before a badge is issued. Media and press applicants must meet specific editorial eligibility requirements.

The Inspired Home Show is produced by the International Housewares Association (IHA), which has hosted the industry's premier home + housewares trade show for over 80 years. The event was previously known as the International Home + Housewares Show before being rebranded as The Inspired Home Show. The first Show dates back to 1939; the 2025 edition marked the 125th Show held since that year. In recent years the Show introduced a newly configured layout using the McCormick Place North/South building complex and, more recently, moved to a Tuesday–Thursday schedule pattern that continues for 2027.
