World of Coffee 2027

According to the organizer, World of Coffee New Orleans expects 17,000+ attendees from 80+ countries. Audience data cited by the SCA indicates that 55% of attendees are decision-makers, 54% are first-time attendees, 93% attend to buy or source products, and 52% are consumer retailers. Under the SCA banner, the show has grown to host more than 15,000 people at recent editions.

• 20ft x 30ft Island: $23,640 member / $30,000 non-member

Separate options exist for the Roaster/Producer Village and for private meeting rooms. Prospective exhibitors begin by completing the online Exhibitor Interest Form.

Attendee registration opens January 2027. Registration cost depends on the badge type selected, whether you are a paid SCA member, and when you register (earlier registration typically costs less). Note that all ticket sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Workshops require a separate ticket in addition to a show badge. Exhibitors can get started through the Exhibitor Interest Form, and those interested in the Roaster or Producer Village complete a dedicated application form.

World of Coffee is produced by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the leading global coffee authority. The SCA was formed in 2017 through the merger of the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and its European counterpart. The U.S. show was long known as the Specialty Coffee Expo before adopting the World of Coffee name. The trade show traces its roots to 1988, when the SCAA held its first-ever expo in New Orleans; the 2027 edition marks nearly four decades since that inaugural event. The show returned to New Orleans in 2021 (an edition affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and Hurricane Ida) and has grown from a few hundred attendees in its early days to more than 15,000. The 2026 edition took place in San Diego.
