Abilities Expo Phoenix 2026

Held in seven major cities across the U.S., Abilities Expo attracts more than 30,000 annual attendees who are people with disabilities, caregivers, families, service providers and industry experts. Show-specific attendance figures for the Phoenix event are not published by the organizer.

Admission is free. Just register online in advance via the show's registration page.

• Attendees ages 18 and over should complete the online registration form for free admission.
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and do not need to complete a registration form.
• Any adult in your household can come in as your guest; adults who do not reside with you should register separately.
• On arrival, pre-registered attendees proceed to the registration desk to check in with their confirmation email or day-of text message and receive a wristband; those who have not pre-registered can scan a QR code on site or register at the counter.

Founded in 1979, Abilities Expo is a business-to-consumer show held in seven major U.S. cities and has long been a cornerstone for the disability community. The first event was launched at the L.A. Convention Center in 1979 by its founder, a wheelchair user who envisioned a disability event where new products could be seen and 'shopped' in the pre-internet era. The show later passed through several ownership changes. Since its acquisition by UK-based Raccoon Media Group in January 2024, the expo has experienced steady growth, with marked increases in revenue, exhibitors and attendee satisfaction. Today the free, three-day expos travel to seven cities each year, including Phoenix.
