Registration for the 2026 AMSN Convention is open online. Attendees can register themselves, register someone else, or register a group.

You can join AMSN as a full member ($115) and register for the convention in one transaction to receive member pricing ($815) and save $135 off the non-member fee. Group registration is available for groups of three or more and offers a discount of 10% off each registration. A full refund, less a $100 administrative processing fee, is provided for cancellations received in writing on or before Sept. 1, 2026; after that date there are no refunds. Military and student rates require documentation emailed to registration@amsn.org.
The AMSN Annual Convention is the flagship yearly gathering of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN). It is the largest conference devoted to the educational and professional needs of medical-surgical nurses. The 2026 edition is held in Palm Springs, California.
The 2026 AMSN Convention takes place Sept. 24-26, 2026, at the Palm Springs Convention Center in downtown Palm Springs, California.
The convention is designed for medical-surgical nurses and health professionals at all career stages, including students, bedside clinicians, and nurse leaders. It is the largest conference devoted to the educational and professional needs of medical-surgical nurses.
Registration is open online through the AMSN Convention website. Early Bird rates (through July 15) start at $630 for AMSN members, $825 for non-members, $395 for students, and $560 for military; standard rates apply starting July 16. Full conference registration includes all education sessions, keynotes, exhibit hall access, the opening reception, and meals.
Attendees can earn up to 19 CE contact hours by attending educational sessions during the convention. Additional contact hours are available through optional pre-convention workshops for an extra fee.
AMSN has room blocks at the Renaissance Palm Springs ($244 + tax/night) and Hilton Palm Springs ($264 + tax/night), both next to the convention center and about a six-minute drive from Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). The booking link is provided in your registration confirmation email, and the block is available through Aug. 21 or until rooms sell out.
