ASCIP is a not-for-profit interdisciplinary membership association focused on spinal cord injury and disease care and research. The Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (ASCIP) is the only interdisciplinary membership association for health and research professionals that has a focus on spinal cord injury and disease and research. The organization is composed of four professional sections, including the American Paraplegia Society and the Spinal Cord Injury Nurses section (formerly the American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Nurses). The 2025 ASCIP Annual Meeting was held Wednesday–Saturday, September 3–6, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 2026 meeting moves west to Salt Lake City, Utah.
The conference takes place September 6-9, 2026, at the Grand America Hotel, 555 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
The meeting is designed for healthcare professionals across disciplines involved in the management of spinal cord injury and disorder, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and rehabilitation therapists. ASCIP is an interdisciplinary membership association focused on spinal cord injury and disease care and research.
Registration is open online through the Academy's event portal. Published fees are $695 for members, $300 for students/retired attendees, and $995 for non-members, and all fees are non-refundable.
