A full-day POCUS Workshop is also offered. This intensive, full-day workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience in Point-of-Care Ultrasound for frontline clinicians, covering cardiac, pulmonary, and abdominal ultrasound and culminating in a Certificate of Completion. Networking centerpieces include the President's Welcome Reception, the Echo Expo, and the ePoster theater.
The meeting draws a global audience. ASE has a membership database of more than 17,000, and also promotes the Scientific Sessions & Echo Expo to an extensive database of non-members interested in echo-specific cardiovascular ultrasound education. Exhibitors interact with the largest cardiovascular ultrasound membership community, including clinicians, hands-on physicians, and sonographers with direct and/or influential purchasing power in hospitals, private clinics, and university settings. The society notes that the Scientific Sessions bring together echo enthusiasts from over 45 countries.
