It is one of the nation's largest and busiest facilities — with its 1.1 million square feet of space in one hall, it has the largest single exhibit space in the U.S., and has become one of the Top 10 hosts for conventions and trade shows in the country since it opened in 1985. Additional spaces include the 4,032-seat New Orleans Theater, the 36,000-sq-ft La Nouvelle Orleans Ballroom, and the Great Hall's rooftop terrace. There is plenty of parking available at the Center for a daily fee, although overnight parking is prohibited.
