PacVet | Pacific Veterinary Conference 2026

For historical context, third-party listings report that the 2025 conference in Long Beach drew roughly 1,700 attendees and 128+ exhibitors, and that PacVet typically attracts over 1,000 veterinary professionals including veterinarians, technicians, practice managers, and students. PacVet attracts veterinary professionals from across the United States, Canada, and other countries, and 87 percent of past conference attendees say they would recommend PacVet to their colleagues.

Registration for the 2026 Pacific Veterinary Conference opened on November 17, 2025. PacVet 2026 offers three registration options: in-person, virtual, and—new for 2026—hybrid.

1. Choose your format. PacVet 2026 is offered three ways—in person, virtual, or hybrid—and attendees should carefully consult the full schedule before choosing, as not all tracks and events are offered virtually.
2. Register online via the PacVet website registration page.
3. Save as a member. CVMA members enjoy an extra $130 off the non-member price for PacVet 2026. Early-bird registration can save up to $100.

Key notes:

• An additional $150 fee is added to all hybrid registrations.
• Any registration switches—e.g., switching from in-person to virtual—incur a $50 administrative fee.
• All cancellation requests must be made in writing to the CVMA Meetings and Events Department at staff@cvma.net no later than May 14, 2026, and there is a $50 non-refundable processing fee for paid conference registration cancellations. No refund is issued for cancellations or registrations received after May 14, 2026.
• Registration was originally scheduled to close on June 4; due to continued interest it remained open, though new registrations became subject to onsite pricing. Onsite registration for in-person or hybrid is available at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, space permitting.

The Pacific Veterinary Conference is sponsored by the California Veterinary Medical Association and is dedicated to providing comprehensive, current, and practical continuing education for the entire veterinary practice team, giving attendees the opportunity to earn CE, attend a two-day Vet Expo, and spend time with family and friends over four days. The conference rotates among California cities. The 2025 edition was held June 27–30, 2025 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA. The 2026 conference returns to the CVMA's home city of Sacramento, and the conference is scheduled to move to San Diego, CA on June 3–6, 2027. The CVMA is the largest state veterinary medical association in the nation with more than 7,700 members.
