Keynotes: The Opening Keynote, "The Transformation of Pain Medicine: Current State and the Path Forward," is delivered by Michael Oshinsky, PhD, Director of the NINDS Office of Preclinical Pain Research and Chair of the NIH HEAL Pain Research initiative. The Closing Keynote, "Harmonizing the Future of Pain Care: Advancing Solutions Together," is presented by Elvis Francois, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon.

PAINWeek 2026 marks the conference's 20th anniversary, celebrating two decades of empowering healthcare professionals with cutting-edge education, innovative research, and practical tools to improve patient care in pain management. Over that time it has grown into the largest US pain conference for frontline clinicians with an interest in pain management. The event is held annually in Las Vegas and is produced by Informa Connect.
PAINWeek 2026 takes place September 8–11, 2026, at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, with a Pre-Conference Workshop on September 7. The exhibit hall is open September 9–10.
The conference is intended for physicians, physician assistants, pharmacists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, dieticians, and other healthcare providers who care for patients with acute, episodic, and chronic pain.
Registration is online through the official PAINWeek portal. Early Bird rates (through June 19) are $799 for physicians, $599 for allied professionals, and $999 for industry attendees, with higher Standard and Onsite rates thereafter. Reduced student and resident rates are available on request.
Yes. PAINWeek 2026 offers up to 23 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for physicians, along with accredited credit for nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, psychologists, and social workers through boards including ACCME, ANCC, AAPA, ACPE, APA, and ASWB.
The host hotel is The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, with a discounted PAINWeek room block starting at $222 per night. The venue is on the Las Vegas Strip, a short drive from Harry Reid International Airport, and PAINWeek offers airline discounts with Delta, United, and Southwest.
