Podcast Movement 2026 is a trade show in New York, NY.
More detailed information about this show will be added soon.
Podcast Movement is one of the largest gatherings in podcasting. The conference drew over 3,000 attendees in 2019. Attendees include amateur and professional podcasters, along with media professionals from radio broadcasters, podcast networks, technology companies, and advertisers. Podcast Movement New York is aimed at a mix of participants, from hobbyists building their skills to creator entrepreneurs scaling multi-platform media businesses. No official attendance figure has been published for the 2026 NYC edition.
Registration is open online. Two separate passes are offered for the two events:
Note: Sounds Profitable Partners attending the Business Summit must purchase a separate pass to take part in Podcast Movement New York.
Podcast Movement began in 2014, when four podcasters and entrepreneurs — Dan Franks, Jared Easley, Gary Leland, and Mitch Todd — launched the event, funded via a Kickstarter campaign, with the goal of creating a vibrant conference "for podcasters, by podcasters." It was the first podcast-focused conference of its size in over a decade and quickly grew into one of the largest gatherings in the industry, drawing over 3,000 attendees by 2019. In 2019 the organizers added a second annual event, Podcast Movement Evolutions, first held in early 2020. Podcast Movement has since joined forces with Sounds Profitable, and 2026 marks its first-ever New York City flagship event, hosted at Terminal 5 from September 14–18 and positioned to place podcasting at the center of media, advertising, and creator culture.
Podcast Movement 2026 runs September 14–18, 2026, in New York City. It is hosted at Terminal 5, located at 610 West 56th Street in Manhattan, marking the conference's first-ever NYC edition.
The week includes two distinct events. The Sounds Profitable Business Summit (September 14–15) is an executive-level program open only to Sounds Profitable Partners, while Podcast Movement New York (September 17–18) is open to all creators and industry professionals.
General Admission to Podcast Movement New York is $199, which covers two full days of all tracks, sessions, networking, and evening live podcast recordings. Tickets are on sale now through the event's online Swapcard registration portal.
The event is built for podcasters who take their work seriously, including independent producers, network creators, and video- and audio-first podcasters. It is not an introduction to podcasting; attendees range from hobbyists growing their skills to creator entrepreneurs scaling multi-platform media businesses.
Terminal 5 is in Hell's Kitchen, about a 12-minute walk from the 59th Street–Columbus Circle subway station (A, C, B, D, 1 trains). Nearby bus lines and rideshare drop-off are available, and paid parking garages can be reserved in advance nearby, as on-street parking is limited.
