Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada - PDAC 2027

The 2026 convention set records for the event. PDAC 2026 welcomed 32,155 participants from around the world, the highest participation in the event's history. Audience demographics from PDAC's 2026 statistics include: 141 countries represented, 459 accredited media, 1,514 student attendees, 3,431 self-identified investors and 31 sponsors. The convention also set a record with more than 1,300 exhibitors, delivering the largest trade show footprint in PDAC's history and filling the Metro Toronto Convention Centre across both the North and South buildings. Participants encompassed industry players, governments, investors, Indigenous communities and students from around the world.

Registration opens in December. Attendees register online through the PDAC member portal. Renewing members log in to their profile and click "Register for PDAC 2027" under Attendee Registration, selecting the "membership" option to receive the discounted rate, after which membership dues are added to the cart and the registration form is completed. New attendees create an account to obtain a username and password, then log in and click "Register for PDAC 2027" under Attendee Registration.

Pass types include the All Access Pass (the most common registration type), One Day All Access Pass, Exhibits Day Pass, plus student and senior rates. Students over 16 may register as a Student All Access Pass (member), One Day All Access Pass, or an Exhibits Day Pass, and students 16 and under can attend free of charge. A senior rate requires the attendee to be 65 or older, and the student rate requires proof of full-time enrolment in a degree-granting post-secondary program.

Key deadlines: early registration opens in December and closes February 5, with regular registration open February 6 and closing March 10. You can also register on-site at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre; pre-registration is recommended to take advantage of Express Check In. Note: fees are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to tax, and the listed fees are for an All Access Pass, the most common registration type.

Since it began in 1932, the convention has grown in size, stature and influence, and is the event of choice for the world's mineral industry. The event is organized by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada. PDAC is the leading voice of the mineral exploration and development community — an industry that employs more than 724,000 people and contributed $156 billion to Canada's GDP in 2024 — and currently represents over 8,200 members around the world.

The convention has grown steadily in recent years. The 2025 convention welcomed more than 27,000 attendees from over 130 countries and 91 government exhibitors. PDAC 2026 then drew 32,155 participants, the highest attendance in the event's 94-year history, along with a record-breaking 1,300+ exhibitors filling both the North and South buildings of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre for the first time.
