Reliable Plant is produced by Noria Corporation, a firm focused on machinery reliability and lubrication. <cite index="21-12">Since its inception in 1997, Noria has been on a mission to revolutionize machine reliability.</cite> The conference has run annually for more than two decades under evolving names and formats. <cite index="19-6,19-7">Earlier editions, such as the 2006 event in Columbus, Ohio, combined Lubrication Excellence, Reliability World and Lean Manufacturing programs and drew approximately 1,400 professionals.</cite> <cite index="18-1">Noria marked the 20th installment of the Reliable Plant Conference & Exhibition in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019.</cite> <cite index="12-2,12-3">The event celebrated its Silver Anniversary — the 25th time Noria hosted the conference — in Orlando in 2023, co-located with the Machinery Lubrication Conference & Exhibition.</cite> Recent host cities include Chicago (2024 and 2025) and the Reno–Tahoe area (2026), with the 2027 edition heading to Mobile, Alabama.
