The show reports 112,000 visitors at its most recent edition, along with 180 educational sessions and 600+ exhibitors and commercial displays. The Farm Science Review attracts over 100,000 visitors from all over the United States and Canada, who come for three days to peruse 4,000 product lines from 600 commercial exhibitors. Audiences include producers, agribusiness professionals, students, school groups, families and exhibitors.

Registration

Farm Science Review sells single-day admission tickets; there are no multi-day passes required for general entry.

Advance single-day tickets are $10 and are available through participating Ohio agribusinesses and county offices of The Ohio State University Extension.
Single-day tickets purchased at the gate are $15, and children age 5 and under are admitted free.
Tickets are available to purchase both online and at participating Extension offices and agribusinesses, and visitors may purchase paper tickets with cash or credit card at the gates.
Ohio State students, faculty and staff: admission is free with a BuckID.

Businesses wishing to exhibit should apply through the Exhibitors section of the official website. The deadline for returning exhibitors to retain the same space is March 1st.

History

The Farm Science Review officially began in 1962, and it was originally held near Don Scott Field. The first show was held in 1963 at the Ohio State University Don Scott Airport in northwest Columbus, Ohio. By 1982, encroaching commercial development and safety concerns at the airport site prompted a move. In August 1982 the University bought the Molly Caren farm, consisting of nearly 1,000 acres in Madison County, to serve as the new home of the Farm Science Review; the land was valued at $2.2 million but was sold for just $500,000 at the request of the farm's owner.

The show has grown into one of the largest events of its kind. For the 2026 edition, the organizers mark 64 years of Farm Science Review, reflecting Ohio State's land-grant mission of bringing research, teaching and outreach together in one place.
