The organizer reports the audience reflects the full intermodal ecosystem, with an attendee breakdown of 36.8% mixed modes/other, 25.4% rail, 12.2% third-party logistics (3PL), 7.7% marine/ocean, and 5.7% trucking.
IANA publishes attendee registration pricing rather than a public booth-cost schedule; exhibitors should contact IANA directly for booth rates. Registration categories that apply to exhibitor staff include an Additional Exhibitor – Member rate of $950.00 (advance) or $995.00 (standard/onsite), and an Additional Exhibitor – Non Member rate of $950.00 (advance) or $995.00 (standard/onsite).

Intermodal EXPO is produced by the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA), headquartered in Calverton, Maryland. The event is organized by IANA, an organization dedicated for decades to promoting and advancing intermodal transport solutions, whose members include ocean carriers, railroads, freight forwarders, terminal operators, and technology providers. IANA itself highlights 30+ years of IANA connections tied to the event. Intermodal EXPO 2026 takes place September 14–16, 2026, at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, 300 East Ocean Boulevard, Long Beach, California. It is organized by the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA).
The show is designed for the full intermodal ecosystem, including railroads and IMCs, motor carriers, ocean carriers and ports, 3PLs, shippers and BCOs, and executives. Technology and equipment providers serving intermodal freight also attend and exhibit.
Advance pricing runs through August 1, 2026. Member registration is $1,100 in advance ($1,300 standard/onsite) and non-member registration is $1,900. Government registration is $499, qualified BCOs/shippers can attend complimentary, and a Wednesday Exhibit Hall Only pass is $699 advance.
IANA's official housing block includes the Fairmont Breakers Long Beach ($338), Hyatt Regency Long Beach ($306), Marriott Long Beach Downtown ($300), and Westin Long Beach Hotel ($284), all within a short walk of the convention center. The housing block deadline is August 21.
The event brings the entire intermodal supply chain together for two focused days of education, exhibits, and networking, with main-stage keynotes from leaders such as BNSF and Union Pacific CEOs. Registration includes exhibit hall access with live demos, four networking receptions, and daily meals.
