League of California Cities Annual Conference & Expo 2026

Cal Cities has reported hosting over 2,300 attendees at a recent Annual Conference and Expo. Organizer materials for the 2021 event estimated roughly 1,500 attendees. The audience is made up of city officials and staff — including mayors, council members, city managers, city attorneys, and city clerks — along with decision makers from finance, parks and recreation, public works, planning, and fire and police departments. In recent years, more than 220 exhibitors have showcased their products and services on the Expo floor.

Exhibit space is sold per 10' x 10' booth, with the exact fee listed on the exhibitor application/agreement. Each exhibit booth space includes a standard booth back-drape and side rails, one "Point" accrued toward priority booth placement in future years, and two Expo-only badges (additional Expo-only badges are available for a fee, listed elsewhere at $125 each). Exhibitors pay at least 50% of the total space rental fee upon submission of the agreement, with full payment due by the stated deadline. Carpet, tables, chairs, and electrical are not included and can be ordered separately through the exhibitor service manual. The League of California Cities was founded in 1898, when a question about a 19th-century "road roller" inspired city officials across the state to form an organization where they could share experiences and pass legislation benefiting cities and their residents. More than 125 years later, Cal Cities is the oldest and largest municipal organization in the state, representing most of California's 482 cities. The League has held its Annual Conference and Exposition for generations, and the event has grown into California's premier gathering for municipal leaders, drawing thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors each year. The 2026 edition returns to the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim.
