Huntington Place is Detroit's premier international exhibition and convention center, situated on the Detroit Riverfront. Originally opened in 1960 as Cobo Hall, the venue underwent a major $279 million renovation in 2015. Today it spans over 2.4 million sq ft, offering 723,000 sq ft of exhibit space, a 40,000 sq ft Grand Riverview Ballroom, more than 100 flexible meeting rooms and a three-storey 30,000 sq ft glass atrium overlooking the Detroit River. The venue provides free high-speed Wi-Fi, advanced AV technology, touchless parking and food stations, and in-house hybrid and broadcast studio services. It is GBAC and LEED Gold certified. MOVE America 2026 is held in Hall B.
Huntington Place offers 2,596 parking spaces across three secure and well-lit garages: the Roof Deck parking, the Washington Blvd. Garage, and the Huntington Place Congress Street Garage. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and payment is by credit card only. No overnight parking, oversized vehicles or trailers are allowed. All parking areas include accessible spaces with easy access to wheelchair-friendly entrances.
By air, Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) serves the region; the FAST Michigan bus runs from the airport to downtown seven days a week, connecting to Huntington Place and downtown hotels. The Detroit People Mover, a free-to-ride elevated light rail, has a station inside Huntington Place on the fourth floor near Congress Street. The free Q-Line streetcar connects downtown with Midtown, operating 8am to midnight with streetcars every 15–20 minutes. FAST bus routes (Gratiot, Woodward and Michigan) stop on Washington between Fort and Congress. For rideshare, Uber's designated pick-up and drop-off area is on the south side of Atwater Street near the riverfront entrances. Drivers can reach the venue via I-75, I-96 and I-94.
