Southwest Veterinary Symposium - SWVS 2026

It confirms 250+ exhibitors and states that the audience is made up of DVMs, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, veterinary and technician students, practice managers, office staff, and industry suppliers. Registration for SWVS 2026 is open online via the official registration portal. Early-bird pricing runs February 16 – June 30, with standard pricing July 1 – September 20.

SWVS is organized as a partnership of some of the leading organizations in veterinary medicine — the Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas veterinary medical associations, along with allied veterinary technician associations including the Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico technician associations and the Veterinary Team Association of Texas. The Symposium is held each fall in the Southwest to provide continuing education for veterinary professionals in the region and nationwide, with Symposium profits returned to the partner states.

The event rotates among Texas cities. In 2026 SWVS moves to San Antonio after being hosted in Fort Worth, and future editions are scheduled for Dallas (2027), San Antonio (2028), and Austin (2029).
